[It was perhaps the longest hour of Bobby's life since he arrived in Los Angeles. The promise of breakfast and an entire day with his wife? It sounded almost too good to be true. It'd been too long since they got to spend the day together without kids, fires, police emergencies, other assorted catastrophes, or just being too tired after dealing with all of that.
Sometimes, finally retiring didn't sound so bad.
Since Athena was making breakfast, he stopped to pick up some orange roses. An entire day alone together, is cause for celebration.
He's walking through the door exactly one hour later, as promised, flowers in hand.]
